What is an asbestos survey and do I need one?
Every property, regardless of age, requires a full Refurbishment and Demolition Survey before any demolition project can be started. This helps ensure everyone’s safety if there are any hazardous materials, and we can make all the survey arrangements as part of our service.
What is a section 80/81?
A section 80 is the application for a demolition notice which is applied for through your local area authority, the council will then issue a copy of the Section 81 Demolition notice which you have to apply for 6 weeks prior to demolition.- We can apply for this on your behalf.
What happens to the Demolition waste?
Waste is heavily regulated, and demolition waste is no exception. Demolition waste can range from bricks that can be reused to hazardous waste that requires specialist disposal. AviDan always takes care to dispose of waste properly, maximising recycling where possible, to minimise the environmental impact of your project.
